About AHECS & gradireland
AHECS is the voice of higher education careers and employability professionals across Ireland. Representing 26 Universities, Technological Universities, Higher Education Institutes and Institutes of Technology
gradireland is a careers and jobs platform (gradireland.com), employability events and publication provider. It supports career services and employers with content, Ireland’s Top 100 employer rankings, Ireland’s Directory publications.
In collaboration with universities, the Graduate Careers Fair attracts over 9,000 students and 120 employers each year.
gradireland was established in 2002 via a joint agreement between AHECS and GTI who entered into a collaboration whereby GTI would be the principal publishing partner for AHECS (or AGCSI as it was known back then).
This agreement with GTI enabled the setting up of a separate division of GTI which is managed via a Joint Management Board made up of AHECS and GTI members.
