Future Apprentice of the Year Awards 2026

The targetjobs Future Apprentice of the Year Awards is an annual competition aimed at finding the best 16–18-year-old talent in the UK. Each award is partnered by an employer who provides a fantastic prize for the winner, which could include a paid internship, a trip abroad or other exclusive opportunities.

In 2026, we saw six partners join the programme with their bespoke category:

  • BAE Systems – The Future Apprentice of the Year Celebrating Neurodiverse Talent Award

  • Howden - The Future Apprentice of the Year Celebrating Social Mobility

  • EY – Future Female Accounting Apprentice of the Year Award

  • Tesco – The Black Heritage Future Apprentice of the Year Award

  • RSM – The Future Finance Apprentice of the Year

  • Rolls Royce - The Future Apprentice Celebrating Excellence Through Future Skills
