Student Marketing Executive

Key objective

The main objective of this role is to continue to drive hard the number of students truly engaged in the TARGETjobs portfolio (especially online) ultimately resulting in improving scores via High Fliers (print and web) and exceeding registered user targets (web).

You will take full responsibility for the campus rep network to drive registrations; exploit the AIESEC alliance and identify and exploit further alliances/partnerships/ ideas to drive traffic to TARGETjobs products (especially web).

A further key part of the role is the execution of the user marketing strategy. Our aim is to greatly surpass anything in the market by driving e-marketing initiatives at a fast pace. Liaising with other GTI departments (eg IT/ online), you will create further e-marketing channels to drive awareness and usage of targetjobs.co.uk while also promoting the FULL TARGETjobs product range (incl print).

Working with the e copywriter you will also be responsible for identifying and then executing links/contras/ etc....with external organisations which we can jointly market with to drive students our way.

Reporting to: UK Marketing Director

Location: Wallingford, OXON

Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the formulation of a UK student marketing strategy
  • Devise, review and implement a student marketing schedule/plan
  • Take full responsibility for managing a network of campus reps across the UK to drive registrations to targetjobs.co.uk
  • Exploit the AIESEC alliance; identify and exploit further alliances/partnerships/ideas; and attend student fairs and manage resource as appropriate to drive traffic to TARGETjobs products (especially web)
  • Devise and launch “world class” annual marketing campaigns to PUSH TARGETjobs products on campus using the TARGETjobs portfolio and online + offline initiatives
  • Take ownership and work with e-copywriter/online and IT to drive e-marketing initiatives to targeted user groups eg monthly student newsletter, jobs by e-mail work
  • Set up and manage alliances and contras to use in marketing channels
  • Account management of search marketing agency working with Marketing Director to drive more traffic to targetjobs.co.uk and increase response
  • Financial control ­ budget, forecast, administer and manage the student marketing budget and work strictly within those budgets
  • Instigate a comprehensive PR plan and push copy to key consumer national media
  • Radicalise and implement student facing marketing initiatives for the TARGETjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards to ultimately drive the Employer of Choice Survey, and the TARGETchances events
  • Formulate marketing plans for new product development initiatives eg TARGET panel
  • Have ultimate responsibility (working with IT) for ensuring the student database stays 100% accurate
